A Wing and a Prayer

Say what you want, but Communism is still the most effective way for a government to bleed their people dry by the most expedient methods possible. That’s why Trump is throwing out the next stimulus check/UBI bone to his supporters.

Remember the war in Vietnam storyline? “America is fighting against the spread of Communism.” How does it feel to have your hand out in order to be fed by the Treasury, American patriots? At this point, your enemies need only allow you the time to destroy yourselves.

After the debacle in Vietnam, the policy changed to direct attacks on the American people to justify more war. Still, the government didn’t even try to reinstate the draft after the orchestrated events. They haven’t brought in conscription because gutlessness now supersedes stupidity; not that any of these more recent conflicts can be justified either.

I think about those poor souls hanging onto the wings of betrayal when the American government left them to their enemies in Afghanistan.

I think about the terror in the children’s eyes in Rafah just before the bombs were dropped.

I think about a hand hooked up to an IV being consumed in the flames of a burning hospital in Gaza.

And I realize that payment has come due.
